• An Excellent Character: The message focuses on the importance of moral character and its impact on one’s life. It begins with a scripture from Proverbs 11:5-6 (MSG) highlighting the benefits of good character and the consequences of an evil life.
• Jacob’s Warning to Reuben: The text discusses Jacob’s final words to his sons in Genesis 49. Despite acknowledging Reuben’s potential and birthright, Jacob emphasizes his character flaw, which led to his downfall. This serves as an example of how character can hinder one’s destiny.
• Character and Prophecy: The text emphasizes that character can affect the fulfillment of prophecies in one’s life. It stresses the importance of aligning one’s behavior with God’s will and walking in righteousness.
• Prayer for Excellence: The text references Ephesians 3:16 and the Spirit’s prayer for believers to be strengthened with excellence by the Holy Spirit in their inner man.
