Theme: Understanding God’s Timing

Summary

Today’s Devotional emphasizes that understanding God’s timing is crucial. The Scriptures offer insight into the timing of God’s favor and mercy. Recognizing and acting on this timing is essential for personal and collective advancement. This is a day of opportunity and salvation for all people and nations.

  • Authority Over Spiritual Powers: As believers, we have been authorized to take action against the chief spiritual personalities in the kingdom of darkness. This authority is granted to us by Jesus.
  • Binding and Loosing: In Mark 16:17 and Matthew 18:18, Jesus emphasizes the authority to cast out demons and bind and loose things on earth. This authority extends to spiritual powers.
  • Execution of Judgment: The Psalmist tells us in Psalm 149:8-9 that we, as saints, are called and authorized to execute judgment against spiritual powers. This honor is not limited to a select few but belongs to all God’s saints.
  • Declaring the Decree: To execute the judgment against evil spiritual forces, you need to declare the decree. In Psalm 2:7, the Psalmist says, “I will declare the decree.” To do this, you must know what decrees have been issued against these forces.
  • Enforcing God’s Decrees: One of the key decrees is found in Philippians 2:10-11, where every knee should bow at the name of Jesus. We are to enforce this decree on earth, ruling our world with the name of Jesus, in our homes, communities, and nations.
  • Rule with the Name of Jesus: Believers are encouraged to use the name of Jesus to break the power of evil and darkness that causes chaos and violence in their surroundings, commanding these forces to cease their operations.
