  • New Life in Christ: The text emphasizes that the human life believers had when they were born of their parents is dead. The new life in Christ is described as having Christ as the essence of life.
  • Christ is Your Life: Colossians 3:4 states, “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” This means that Christ is the life of believers, making them extraordinary individuals.
  • Mystery of Christ in You: The text describes the essence of Christ in believers as a mystery to the world. It was hidden from ages and generations but has now been revealed. Colossians 1:26-27 says, “which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
