Theme: Be Mindful Of Satan’s Manipulations

• Awareness of Satan’s Manipulations: The text opens with 2 Corinthians 2:11, emphasizing the importance of not being ignorant of Satan’s devices. Believers are encouraged to be mindful of how Satan manipulates situations and influences people.
• Peter’s Encounter: The text recounts an incident where Peter objected to Jesus’ prediction of His death, and Jesus responded by saying, “Get thee behind me, Satan.” This highlights that Satan can influence individuals without necessarily possessing them. It underscores the significance of being cautious of words and influences.
• David’s Example: Another example provided is David, a righteous man who was unknowingly prompted by Satan to number Israel. This illustrates that even godly individuals can be influenced by the enemy’s tactics.
• Guidance of the Holy Spirit: The text stresses the importance of following the Holy Spirit through the Word of God. Prayer and intercession are encouraged, especially for leaders, so they may be led by the Holy Spirit and aligned with the Scriptures.
