Rhapsody of Realities Impact Dairy Vanuatu: Spreading the Word

Introduction

As a devout partner of the Rhapsody of Realities, I have always strived to seize every available opportunity to distribute copies of this devotional. This commitment led me to a remarkable encounter in Vanuatu. I was present at the launching of the Bislama Bible, where Rhapsody of Realities was introduced to the gathering of pastors and church leaders.

Walking the streets of Port Villa the capital city, we climbed the hills to join the gathering of pastors from all churches dedicated to launching the Bislama Bible. This Bible was intended to be distributed freely to every home in Vanuatu. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to introduce the Rhapsody of Realities, a devotional that complements the Bible, helping every home come to know the Word of God as taught by our man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. The excitement was palpable.

The Introduction of Rhapsody of Reality

During the service, we took the opportunity to introduce Rhapsody of Realities to the attending pastors and leaders. The service was a joyous occasion, filled with song and praise. After the event, the moment we’d been waiting for came. The pastors and leaders were introduced to the world’s number one daily devotional.

I had a conversation with Jack, the Bible Society Coordinator for Vanuatu. We agreed on the importance of not just giving the Bible to every home but also helping every person understand what’s in the Bible. We presented the Rhapsody of Realities as a daily devotion and teaching from our man of God that could facilitate this understanding. The pastors and leaders excitedly received their copies of the devotional, grateful for a tool that would help them study the Bible better.

Distributing the Devotional

The next morning, Pastor Ewan and the Rhapsody team distributed free copies of the devotional at the main market in Port Villa. The marketplace, bustling with locals selling and buying a variety of items, from tropical fruits, vegetables, and flowers to artefacts and souvenirs, was full of life. But that day, alongside their usual wares, the locals also received spiritual nourishment.

We met enthusiastic recipients who delved straight into the devotional. The marketplace, usually a place to buy food, became a place where people also received spiritual food, free of charge. The devotional was distributed to bring growth and understanding of the Word of God.

The Impact of Rhapsody of Realities

The day’s journey continued as we visited pastors and church leaders who had received the Rhapsody of Realities the previous day. The impact of the devotional was tangible. Jack expressed his support for having the devotional translated into the Bislama language. He appreciated the self-explanatory notes in the devotional that helped readers understand what they were reading about.

Confession and Transformation

The arrival of the Rhapsody of Realities in Vanuatu was indeed an answer to their prayers and it’s citizens were ready to receive this messenger angel, ready to cover their islands with the Word of God. We even led the locals into a confession of salvation, welcoming them into the Christian family.

Conclusion

The journey to Vanuatu was a beautiful ride, filled with love, joy, peace, and hope. We brought not just a devotional but a transformative tool to the people of Vanuatu. The island will continually experience a complete transformation as God’s message of love, joy, peace, and hope takes center stage.
