Rhapsody of Realities September 23 2023 written by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome And Today’s Message is

His Ultimate Purpose

Our opening scripture comes from the book of  Colossians 1:26  which says: Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today MESSAGE:

The purpose of Jesus’ coming to this world was not just to die for our sins. His ultimate purpose was to make us sons of God, so we could have eternal life and be like Him in this world, and in fellowship with God.

This is what Satan knows and hates with a passion! The Apostle John wrote, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” 1( John 5:11-13 NIV).

Now that you’re born again, you have the life and nature of God in you. This is the essence of Christianity according to the Bible; it is Christ alive in you! Colossians 1:26-27 says, “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

O, how He wants the whole world to know that they don’t have to live the ordinary human life that’s depraved and mortal! Remember that Jesus died for everyone in the world, and thus the God-life is available to all. Today, anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and confesses His lordship, receives this God-life and is brought into oneness with God. This was Christ’s ultimate purpose.

CONFESSION

Dear Father, I’m grateful for the revelation of eternal life that I have received. Therefore, I live in the realm of incorruptibility, immortality, everlasting joy, peace and glory, reigning in life by Christ Jesus. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

John 3:16 – For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

Galatians 2:20 –  I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

John 10:10 AMPC – The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)
